The Hawaii inter-island cruise basically comprises two main itineraries or schedules. The first itinerary is traveling from the West Coast to the Hawaiian Region. Usually this trip treats vacationers to a three-island tour. This schedule is seasonal and offered during spring or fall. The other itinerary is flying straight to Hawaii and cruising between the beautiful and exotic islands for seven days. Perhaps you may want to take a look at this itinerary for your 7-day Hawaii cruise vacation.

The itinerary for the seven-day Hawaiian cruise varies among cruise line operators. In spite of this, most vessels more or less have common island port destinations. The activities between islands are also usually the same among cruise lines.

The cruise commences in Honolulu after arriving at the Honolulu International Airport and after the vacationers are brought to the Hotel for check in processes. Such procedure is being carried out by a duly authorized travel agent.

On the second day the tourists are taken to Hawaii’s famous historical sights and landmarks  which include the Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial, the State Building, the National Memorial of the Pacific, the Washington Place, Chinatown, Iolani Palace and King Kamehameha III’s statue. In the afternoon or the later part of the day, the travelers are given free time for leisure at their hearts’ content.

The famous Diamond Head highlights the exciting excursion of the third day. The vacationer gets a firsthand experience of what Captain Cook had encountered while looking down from Diamond Head. A view of the Waikiki Beach from above is definitely a breathtaking experience as well. The water columns that appear at the Halona Blowhole never fail to amaze. The last destination for the day is the admired Pali where spectacular mountain winds can be seen.

In the morning of the fourth day, the tourists are again given free time for whatever they like to do. In the afternoon they leave for the Polynesian Cultural Center which is a Mormon-established institution. The center preserves the culture of the seven Polynesian tribes which include Tonga , Fuji , Samoa, Moorea , Hawaii, Tahiti and Marquesas. The visitors are then entertained through a festive cultural concert at night.

The travelers are introduced to the island of Maui and the island of Hawaii on the fifth day. Maui and Hawaii are also famously called ”the valley island” and “the volcano island” respectively. Also, the scenic Ioa Valley, botanic garden and coastal highway area mesmerize like no other. An overnight stay in Hilo provides enough rest to the visitors who are at the moment blown away by what they have seen so far.

On the sixth day, the tourists enjoy cheerful hours walking on the Black Sand beach at the foot of a volcano. After which, they take a glimpse of the volcano museum at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. A visit to the Rainbow Falls and the Macadamia Nuts Farm finally wraps up the inter-island cruise. The vacationers are then flown back to their hotel in Honolulu to rest for the entire night.

The visitors head back to the airport on the seventh day through the assistance of the travel agents. There, they fly back to their respective homes after a fulfilling and unforgettable 7 day Hawaii cruise.
